How are memories distorted by maturity and new experiences? I want to investigate how I can portray events in my life with the influence of time and insight. This includes depicting parallel symbols in different pieces to show their influence on one another. Part of this influence is how I have sustained myself, whether that’s how I am cared for or how I use art, nature, and self-expression as an outlet. I also want to use surrealism to create warped versions of memories and dream-like imagery. Memories are complex and ungrounded and I don’t want to portray them as clear or concrete
